Here at Building the Herd, we’re trying out some new things to bring our readers more knowledge and insight regarding the Buffalo Bills. For those of you that don’t know, Rich Fann (@RDotDeuce on Twitter) runs BuffaloWins.net (@BuffaloWins on Twitter) and is not only a great guy, but one of the more knowledgeable fans you’ll find within “Bills Twitter.” So, we’ve joined forces to begin a video series in which we’ll break down players, schemes, specific plays and just about anything we find interesting that’s related to our Buffalo Bills.
In our first trial run, we took a look at the Buffalo Bills’ second-round pick in the 2016 NFL Draft, linebacker Reggie Ragland out of Alabama, offering our commentary on his performances against the Tennessee Volunteers and the Michigan State Spartans to highlight what he brings to the team.
Being that this is the first time either of us have done something like this, it probably won’t earn any Oscar nominations, but as we continue to put these out, they should improve–both in quality, commentary and production.
You can read my breakdown on the Reggie Ragland pick, in which I wrote about why people need to stop overthinking his “thumper” label here, which includes various clips from his collegiate career and highlight his abilities.
Also, on the docket for our video breakdown series are the following topics:
- EDGE Shaq Lawson
- Rex Ryan’s Scheme (Looking back at film from 2005-2006 Ravens through the 2014 Bills)
- DL Adolphus Washington
- Greg Roman’s Offense
We’re open to looking at any topic or player, so don’t hesitate to make suggestions on anything you’d like to see or how we can improve. We hope you enjoy this series and come away knowing more about Reggie Ragland than you did before!
